Jennie Lyon

Hello, my name is Jennie Lyon. I was born August 30, 1980. I was adopted when I was 1 year old. I spent my childhood in Saint Paul Minnesota. Then in 1992 we moved to Austin Texas. Two years later we found ourselves in Fort Collins Colorado. I graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1999. After High school I went to Covenant Bible College for a year. After that, I still didn't know what I wanted to major in, so I went to Front Range Community College. I transferred to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado spring semester of 2001. I plan to get my bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies in December of 2005. I want to teach children because it is so rewarding to watch them develop and mature into responsible adults. I want to be a part of this process by teaching children to appreciate life to its fullest and to fill their lives with purpose and meaning by receiving a good education.

I love to play the piano, cook and bake, crochet and sing. I love animals, especially kittens. Right now I have one cat and three birds.

These are my birds, Blue, Kippy and Bird. This is my cat, Cinder.
